  • Dear peanut shell creator, My son was born via absolute emergency (called crash) c section. As a result I have a much higher and much longer scar that will take longer to heal. I really wanted to wear my baby but I tried many other baby slings and pouches (kangaroo korner, hotsling etc) and they just did not work without causing me lots of pain. I was really sad since it's hard enough having a very scary birth and then thinking you can't wear your baby at all (the moby wrap is a great product but it hurt too). Then came the peanut shell baby sling!!! It's fantastic. It didn't hurt my scar and I was able to make it either above or below the scar depending on how I wore it. I am still comfortably wearing my 13 pound 4mo all the time. Thanks for making such a versatile product. It had been key in helping me recover and bond with my baby.   • Thank you! I love this product. My daughter falls asleep instantly when she's in it, and she's so portable I can take her anywhere! As a New Yorker, this is crucial. Even when I use her stroller I pack the sling, and I usually end up needing it. I also have the matching nursing cover, which I just adore. I get lots of compliments!   • I can't believe how this baby sling has enhanced my experience with my daughter (my one and only!). When I was home, I could always be with her, particular when she was sleeping. When I went back to work, I can come home and do the same for her last nap of the day. Incredible. Caution: Leave extra time to go through malls and other stores with baby in sling, because everyone will stop you (particularly older ladies) to exclaim how wonderful and adorable the sling, and its concept, are.   • I absolutely love your sling . . . and apparently everyone else does too. Everywhere I go I am asked about the sling, where to get it, etc. etc. I love the fact that my son is able to see the world as I experience it. All those simple things I do while we are out and about like grocery shopping, going to the bank, etc. are so important to his development. He is so content (as apparent from the ease he falls asleep) and happy in the sling. I couldn't ask for a better product!

Just two things-I really just wanted to say that this is the best baby product I have ever owned even after going through an array of baby carriers, etc. I wish I would have had one of these with my first child-it would have made life much easier. I think you should advertise your product more-moms NEED a Peanut Shell baby sling. You would be doing them an amazing favor by spreading thw word of your amazing product.

My little girl, Campbell, is 3 weeks old and has really started to enjoy being in her Peanut Shell sling. She likes to be carried in the tummy-to-tummy style because it's easy for her to fall asleep while I'm carrying her.   • So, I've tried many baby carriers and slings- I'm so into baby wearing and natural parenting, breastfeeding etc. I tried the baby bjorn and wasn't in love with it- So I bought the Snugli sling thinking it looked good and wasn't too pricy- HATED it .. THe adjustments were impossible and I still couldn't get it to fit right- Let me tell you- your product is worth EVERY PENNY! I am using it now for the first time and my little man is snuggled in (Not looking bunched up and uncomfortable like other baby slings) Snoozing away! I LOVE IT! Thank you for an awesome product and keep up the good work!!!! I love the closeness you product promotes- I've already reccommended it to all my friends!   • I LOVE MY PEANUT SHELL!! My son is now 7 months old and still loves the cradle hold. He is a little too big for this hold, because his legs (from the knee down) stick out...hahaha...but he still falls asleep the minute I put him in it! I tell everybody I see about your product! Boston is starting to teethe and as soon as I can tell that his gums are bothering him, I walk around with him in his sling and he calms down instantly! Thank you so much!!!

  • Thank you for such a great product! I saw it just as a coincidence, I had sworn off baby slings after trying them all, and disliking them all. I decided to buy it because it was on sale at my local retailer, and when I got home, I tried it immediately... and LOVE it! My baby loves it too, and I'm just sooo happy to have found such a great product, it was well worth the price, and I can't wait to use it when he is older, too. It is so comfortable and he feels so well supported, not like other slings I tried. He also doesn't have to sit like a frog, he can lie in it nicely or do the kangaroo hold.   • Hi there I just bought the Peanut Shell sling and I am absolutely thrilled. My son is a big one year old baby and has not liked being in a carrier for a while. We are planning a trip to Europe in spring to visit family and I have been frantically looking for something that first of all he likes, secondly fits into the diaper bag, and thirdly that is super easy to use. I had never heard of the Peanut Shell but it caught my eye in the store b/c it lookes so tiny. I tried it out, right in the store, and my son was content as could be looking around and smiling!   • My second son and I just couldn't find a carrier that was right for me. With lower back problems carrying 20lbs in the front it just too hard. My son is 9 1/2 months old and I JUST got a peanut shell. I wish I has this when he was first born and for my first child. I've only had it for 2 hours! I'm in love and will now have to have a third child (or hunt down a newborn) just so that I can carry a tiny one in it to see. Better than a Bjorn! AWESOME!!

  • I've had my Peanut Shell for about 10 months now. My son still loves it. He is 16 months old and I still carry him in it anytime we are out and he needs to be held. I use it everywhere, from the grocery store to amusement parks. It is awesome in the airport! All the other parents are struggling to carry a car seat and luggage and push the stroller, I use the stroller to carry everything and keep my son in the Peanut Shell. I've had more than one mom tell me I make it look easy to travel alone with 2 kids. I couldn't do it with out my Peanut Shell! I get tons of compliments on it

  • I don't go anywhere without my Peanut Shell! I had the hardest time finding a sling that fits my plus size shape-- the Peanut shell FITS!! It's comfortable for me, and my son loves it. I've flown with him in it 4 times, and he is just as comfortable as if he was in his own bed. The Flight Attendants and nearby passengers always comment on what an amazing, good, quiet, baby he is and how comfortable and mobile I am with him! Everywhere I go I get asked about my PS. I can't say enough good things about it. It's, by far, the best baby gear item I own!

My little preemie was born at 2 lbs and when I started researching how to take care of a preemie, I found that baby wearing was very beneficial to their development! He is now 7 lbs and completely in love with his Peanut Shell!! He falls asleep in it instantly! Being able to carry him around all the time has helped so much with mother/baby bonding...especially since he spent 8 weeks in the NICU.   • After the constant comments I receive, I thought that I should pass them along to ya'll. I've tried many babywearing styles, and just love the Peanut Shell! When my baby was little, he loved the cradle hold, and I used to nurse him in it often. As a frequent nurser, it allowed me freedom to move off the couch, and even out of the house. Most people had no idea that he was even nursing when I was out and about because it allowed me to be so mobile. It folds up so nicely that I can take it anywhere. When we moved midway across the country, it was invaluable to me! Now that he's bigger, I mainly use the hip carry. The padded rails are great, and his bum gets in nice and deep so I know he's secure. He has been so comfortable in it that literally evertime I go out someone comments on how content he looks. So many expectant or new moms have approached me to ask about your product because it obviously works so well. I highly recommend it to everyone who asks. Most of all, I love how I get to keep my little guy so close. We look at things and "talk" and smile - it makes a trip to the grocery store a pleasure because I get to snuggle with my son. Thanks for a great product that has really enhanced our lives.

  • Dear Goo-ga, I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE the Peanut Shell...it has given me my freedom back! My baby is 11 weeks old and for the past 4 weeks it has been nearly impossible for me to go anywhere with my little peanut, Zach, because he hates being in his carseat and it's difficult for me to carry him *all* the time. I had tried a ring sling and hated it (and so did he) and so I had pretty much given up on slings until one of my mommy friends let me try her Peanut Shell...thank goodness we did! I bought a Peanut Shell the next day (last week) and we can finally go out and do whatever we want now and not worry about Zach being fussy!   • I just wanted to drop a note to thank you. The Peanut Shell has been the best gift we received as expectant parents. Now that our baby Jack is 4 months old, I can honestly say that it has been the one item I could not have made it through the early months without. During the first few days home, when I was wasn’t staring in awe at my new sweet boy, I wore him. It reminded me of still being pregnant (which I dearly missed) and it was a familiar place for him. I was also excited to find that my newborn slept well; a trait that I credit the Peanut Shell for. I read that “wearing” your baby at least 4 hours a day helps them to sleep in longer stretches. This was true for us. I continue to “wear” Jack; at the office, at home, in the yard and pretty much every other place we go. With all of the positions to try, I know that the Peanut Shell will see many more months, even years of use.

  • Hello! I just had to write in to tell you guys how much I LOVE the Peanut Shell! I never use the stroller anymore, and in fact – am going to sell the stroller to a local consignment shop for money to buy another Peanut Shell! There are so many really cool patterns and colors that I feel the need to have more than one to match different outfits! When I go out in public, I have TONS of people stop to ask me about my Peanut Shell. The Peanut Shell is so awesome that I attract a lot of attention with it. I usually get comments like “What is that thing called?” and “Where did you get it?” and “Where can I get one?” and “How easy is it to use?”…so I just go right into it and tell them all about it and how easy it is to take on and off. I love to watch the amazement on the people’s impressed faces. Also, if I see a Mom who still lugs around her infant in those bulky plastic carseats, I always approach her and let her know that there is a better way (showing my Peanut Shell and how happy my baby is!).   • I've actually never written a company about their product before, but I had to let you guys know how much I love my sling. I'm the mom of a very active 3 year old, and in March we added baby girl no.2. My second daughter is lactose intolerant, but until we discovered exactly what was causing her colic-like symptoms the sling was the only thing I could count on to calm or soothe her. Actually, it's still the only way she takes a really good nap during the day, and I think a huge contributer to her already (counting my lucky stars) sleeping through the night! Thank you so much!

I was going to wait until I was pregnant with my second baby to order one, but then I saw the carries you can use for toddlers and bought one to use with my 19 month old. My son hated other carriers, but gets really excited when I put on your Peanut Shell sling, he wants in it right away! It has been so wonderful to go to the grocery store or Walmart (he's been very fussy about riding in the carts) and have him content and my arms free the whole time! I love it!   • I love this sling!!! I'm only 20 so I didn't want anything bulky and plain when I flew from NY to NM to see my family. I used the sling with my one month old son through the airports and such, and it was SUCH a lifesaver!!! I had my luggage, his diaper bag, and his carseat with base to carry too so the sling was perfect! I had my hands free for walking through the terminals, he loved being so snug, and I could even breastfeed while wearing it {although I was told on one flight that I had to take it off}. They haven't seen it in action yet, but next time I see them I'm sure they'll be on your site to get one! I couldn't live without it.   • I have a 5 month old daughter and we have used the peanut shell since she was a week old. We both love it, especially in Wal-Mart and the grocery store. She snuggles up in it and we both enjoy the cuddle time. We get so many compliments on it and especially my mother-in-law wishes she had one when her 4 kids were little. My daughter Sallie's nickname has become "Peanut" because she fits so well in the peanut shell and enjoys it so much. It helps when we are in public for her to be close to me because she feels so much more secure than if she were in the shopping cart.   • Hello, I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know how much we are enjoying your sling. With my first son, I used a New Native sling and thougth it was pretty good. In fact, when I bought a new sling during this pregnancy I felt decadent and a bit wasteful. Now that I have been using this sling with my 3 week old son, I can't say enough how much better it is to use. I bought the micro fleece sling, the stretch makes it conform to his body and my shape much better than the cotton cloth of our New Native. I also feel like the snugly soft fabric replaces a receiving blanket when we go out which also helps to make it fit better. We just got back from a walk, and I LOVE THIS SLING. It was such a comfortable experience. I can't wait to buy a summer sling when the weather warms up.

I've only had this thing for about an hour and I've already got so much done around the house since I have both hands free.   • I wanted to let you know that I loved my peanut sling, but low and behold we lost it... Even worse, we lost it at the airport as we arrived to Florida for our vacation... The whole vacation my 3 year old made us carry her so we could put the baby in the stroller... Anyway, I am about to buy another sling bec. the 2 others I have are just not the same... I also got peanut shells for both of my sister in laws and they love them too! Here is a picture of my beloved lost sling... I can't wait to get a new one... Now if I could only figure out what color to get... : )

  • I got my baby sling and LOVE it!! I'll bet you get a bunch of orders from the Tampa, FL area in the coming weeks - I am stopped everywhere and asked about it. It would be nice if your web address was nearer the shoulder so that people would stop breathing germs all over the pouch part of the sling, near my new baby! Ha!! Thanks again.

  • Just Got my PS today and LOVE it...already wore it while making dinner and its nice to finally have my hands free (with a four week old this does not happen that much)...I own the Native Carrier and liked it but your product i feel is far superior and way more comfortable..i got the micro-fleece and am very happy with my choice...thank you for offering such a great product..Keep up the good work...

  • I just wanted to thank you for my fabulous red micro-fleece sling. I purchased it before my second daughter was born in June and it fits perfectly and is honestly the best sling/baby carrier I have ever owned (like many baby-wearers, we've tried lots of styles and types). In addition to wearing my 6 month old in it, I have also used it with my 2-1/2 year old in a hip carry and she loves it too. It's too bad I don't have the strength to wear both of them on both hips! My 2 yr. old gets a little jealous when she can't be in it too. Anyway, I live in Davis and everywhere I go people ask me where I got my Peanut Shell and I hook them up with your website. I am starting to see so many Peanut Shells around town that I know the word is spreading! Three of my friends are pregnant and I have already told them that they will all receive a Peanut Shell for their new babies. Thank you again, I LOVE my Peanut Shell!!!

  • Just wanted to send you a quick message letting you know how much I love my Peanut Shell (on a side note, I have NEVER liked an item so much that I wrote a letter regarding it) I recently had my fourth daughter and had never found a comfortable and nice-looking way to carry my children. My new baby wants to be held all the time and the Peanut Shell has saved me! I wear it all day long and everywhere I go people stop me and notice the Peanut Shell (and the cute baby inside :*) Davis is a city full of baby-wearing mothers and it has been a big hit here! Plus, I love that you are a mom who designed it and are selling it.

  • About a month ago I ordered a peanut shell, which you quickly rushed to make in the color my sister wanted, and it arrived just in time for the birth of my first neice. I just wanted to thank you for your amazing customer service, including your assistance when I was struggling to choose a peanut shell size.   • I just wanted to thank you for the speedy shipment of my fleece Peanut Shell sling. I wasn't expecting it for a week but I ordered on Friday and got it on Monday! My 6 week old daughter loves it and is snuggled into it even as I type this. At first I thought it was going to be too small but once she is in it the fit is perfect. Thanks again for such a great product! It is so helpful to have my hands free to take care of my two year old twin boys while still giving my newborn snuggle time.

  • Hi, I just want to let you know that I got yet another compliment on my yellow fleece peanut shell sling today. I bought the sling about a month ago and I don't know what I'd do without it! Before the sling, getting the baby to nap was a whole afternoon affair. However, as soon as I tried on the sling and slipped him in, he fell asleep without a fuss! I was shocked. Now I've got to figure out how to get him to sling in the crib (some day). Meanwhile, I constantly get stopped on the street by people who want to know where I got the sling. I always refer them to your website and tell them how wonderful your product is.
